The New Orleans Opportunity Youth Collaborative
MISSION
We are a cross-sector collaborative working to decrease the number of disconnected youth in New Orleans by engaging them in quality education and employment pathways that provide economic mobility and security.
VISION
We envision a community where all young people in New Orleans are able to realize their potential, supported by high-quality education and employment opportunities.

The New Orleans Opportunity Youth Collaborative Dashboard is a project aligned with the solutions of the New Orleans Youth Master Plan, including Economic Stability, Youth Voice, and Learning.
The New Orleans Opportunity Youth Collaborative is co-convened by New Orleans Youth Alliance (NOYA), The ReEngagement Center (REC), and New Orleans Children and Youth Planning Board (CYPB).

Purpose of the New Orleans Opportunity Youth Collaborative Dashboard
This dashboard is a collaborative process engaging youth and adults in the New Orleans Opportunity Youth Collaborative. Through data contributions from collaborative partners, the New Orleans Opportunity Youth Collaborative Dashboard seeks to incorporate youth voices and vision combined with transparent and comprehensive data.
This dashboard serves three central purposes:
Measure how partner organizations impact Opportunity Youth in New Orleans
Enhance collaboration within Opportunity Youth Collaborative partners to improve youth experiences and outcomes
Contribute collective data to larger youth-centered data systems across New Orleans
Dashboard Reporting Period
Our collective dashboard is updated yearly to reflect the most recent and accurate data across collaborative partners. This dashboard is a reflection of continued growth and evolution of the New Orleans Opportunity Youth Collaborative.

The data within the dashboard is the reflection of the collective data across the following partner organizations. Collaborative partners participating in data sharing align data through shared definitions and collective metrics developed by the collaborative.
The Opportunity Youth Collaborative identified key data points to help tell the story of New Orleans youth through the dashboard. These data points - noted as metrics - were chosen due to their alignment across partner organizations.
