Café Reconcile supports the training and development of young people 16-24 as the next generation of professionals in our community.
Café Reconcile is a leader in nurturing the professional and personal growth of young people as they explore career or educational opportunities, develop job readiness skills to stand out, and pursue their potential. Café Reconcile is aligned with the Youth Master Plan Economic Stability and Youth Voice goals and solutions.
What They’re Doing:
Exposure to Career Options & Training
Café Reconcile offers a comprehensive, paid 14-week training program designed for young adults to explore, discover, and develop skills. Young adults earn industry-recognized credentials, gain hands-on experience, and receive individualized career coaching.
Reconcile’s three main priorities for program participants are: (1) to support them in the development of their self-confidence, (2) that they feel financially stable as a result of their participation, and (3) that they earn an educational or employment opportunity suited to their abilities and pursuits
Alumni Advisory Council
The Alumni Advisory Council at Café Reconcile plays a vital role in elevating youth voice by ensuring that the lived experiences, insights, and perspectives of past program participants actively shape current and future programming.
