About The Artist

My name is Kamali McElroy, I am a 13 year old Black queer artist from New Orleans, Louisiana. I usually do my art works in pen, pencil, gouache, or digital mediums. Furthermore, the focal point of all of my most recent works has been Blackness and queerness, and how they both come in different shapes and sizes. The main way I express that through my art is with portraits and figures. Finally, when I do this art it works as a form of coping and calmness, but also as a form of fun and activeness.
